Hammerhead designs and manufactures piercing tools, bursting systems, pneumatic hammers and horizontal directional drilling tools, which are used in the trenchless installation or repair of communication, water, sewer and gas conduits.
Earth Tool Company (ETC), the Wisconsin-based manufacturer of Hammerhead products, will now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Charles Machine Works (CMW).
CMW CEO Tiffany Sewell-Howard said “Our decision to acquire Hammerhead/ETC was based on our long-term, strategic commitment to grow our core business. We plan to fully leverage Hammerhead’s products and expertise to strengthen our position in the water and sewer rehabilitation markets globally.”
ETC representatives were also enthusiastic about the acquisition.
