Ohio seeks sewer design-build services

The Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, Ohio, is contracting for design-build services for the Oakley Station Separation Sewer Project.

The project consists of using preliminary design plans to prepare detailed design plans, obtaining all necessary regulatory permits, and constructing large and small diameter sewers using trenchless and open-cut construction techniques associated with the separation of combined sewers.

This will include installation of associated water and storm sewer lines and relocation of existing infrastructure.

The City seeks design-build services for the design and construction of this project. Interested design-build firms must have experience in performing design-build services on projects involving the design and construction of sanitary sewers. Designs will be based on preliminary drawings provided to the design-build firm as a part of the project.

This design-build contract will be awarded in accordance with the procedures identified in the request for qualifications. As of 1 May 2012, RFQs may be obtained only from MSDGC Plan Sales, New Administration Building, 1081 Woodrow, Cincinnati, Ohio 45204 for $US50.
