Dr Dec Downey of Jason Consultants and Arizona State University School of Engineering’s Dr Samuel Ariaratnam will give the keynote speeches, as well as hosting training sessions on condition assessment, pressure pipe rehabilitation, HDD and pipe bursting. Tan Thai Pin from the Singapore water agency PUB will discuss his country’s water reclamation projects.

The conference program will cover all aspects of Trenchless Technology and will also feature the Project of the Year Awards 2009. Entries will be judged by an independent panel, and awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner.

The project of the year winner will automatically be nominated for the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT) Awards, which will be presented in Singapore in 2010.

Trenchless Australasia 2009 is relevant for councils, water, wastewater, energy and communication utilities.
