Bauma 2010, a trade fair for construction equipment and mining machines, will feature a presentation on trenchless equipment developed by the Herrenknecht Group.
Herrenknecht AG, a German-based firm specialising in mechanised tunnelling, will be exhibiting their range of equipment for the trenchless installation of pipelines.
In addition to HDD technology, Herrenknecht will display the Pipe Thruster, which provides additional push and pull forces for particularly long drills and large pipe diameters. Used in combination with microtunnelling technology, the Pipe Thruster allows for the simultaneous construction of the required drill hole and the trenchless installation of a prefabricated pipeline.
